CSED Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

Volunteer recruitment for our Instructor training began in July culminating with the 1st Leadership Training Conference in October, 2010 and it was held in the GTA. We trained interested and qualified volunteers on all our program modules and provided them with everything they need to deliver the programs in their own communities. We are looking for people who have 4 hours per month to spend sharing our programs with children and youth in their respective community. If you are interested in applying for a Volunteer Instructor position with our Child Safety & Education Division, please CLICK HERE to see the volunteer position description and to fill out our volunteer application form.

In order to meet eligibility requirements, all CCAA Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and successfully pass a “vulnerable sector screening check”.

As this is a National program, the Instructor Training will continue through 2011 moving across Canada.Partnerships with local Boards of Education, social service agencies and other like minded organizations will enable us to secure volunteers, secure grants for sustainability and deliver our programs in Canadian communities.Based on interest and expertise, we plan to create a team of Train the Trainers who can help us to continue to train the Instructors in Canadian communities.
